Abstract：For damage test, an appropriate online damage detection system is needed to evaluate the state of the optical components. Techniques suited to this purpose are for instance online microscopic techniques, photoacoustic and photothermal detection, as well as scatter detections using a separate laser or radiation from the damaging laser.
